课程的教学目的与任务

文体学是研究文体和语言风格的学问,是一门运用现代语言学理论和方法研究文体的学科,常被喻为连接语言学和文学批评的桥梁。为英语专业本科生开设《文体学概论》,旨在帮助学生掌握文体分析的基本技巧,学会运用语言学理论和方法分析英语诗歌、英语戏剧、英语小说、新闻、广告等文本的语用特征,以便深刻挖掘文本的美学价值,提高对文本的解析和鉴赏水平。

课程的基本要求

1、通过教师课堂讲解,使学生掌握有关文体学的基本知识和基本概念,为将来能够将这些知识运用于具体文本的分析奠定基础;

2、通过教师讲授结合学生分组讨论,逐渐提高文体意识和文学鉴赏能力,掌握文体分析的基本原则与技巧;

3、通过课下思考以及大量课外阅读,使学生掌握使用英语分析诗歌、戏剧、小说等文学体裁以及新闻、广告等非文学体裁文本的能力。

各章节授课内容、教学方法及学时分配建议

本课程采用课堂讲授和课堂讨论相结合的教学方式。课堂讲授使用多媒体教学,由教师讲解文体学的基本概念、理论与分析方法,以不同体裁的文本分析引导学生参与课堂讨论,培养学生的文体意识和鉴赏能力,并掌握独立进行文体分析的能力。
